CLASSY Cares

Where our work began. Why we still show up.

CLASSY Cares is rooted in the very beginning of C.L.A.S.S.Y. Inc.’s work. In 2007, our organization first came together around breast cancer awareness, participating in community walks and standing alongside individuals and families navigating diagnosis, treatment, and survival. From the start, young people were central to this work. Students didn’t just attend events. They learned how to advocate, show compassion, and mobilize community around causes that deeply affected the adults, families, and neighborhoods around them.

Who We Care For

CLASSY INC

Those early experiences shaped who we are.

For the past 18 years, CLASSY Inc. has remained committed to showing up for people during life’s most unexpected and overwhelming moments. We understand that medical emergencies, loss, and crises often come with sudden financial strain. As part of our community care efforts, we have consistently supported local GoFundMe campaigns, contributing amounts ranging from $50 to $500, when families and individuals need immediate help.

As our organization has grown, so has the way our students care for others.

As our organization has grown, so has the way our students care for others.

In recent years, CLASSY Cares has expanded to include meal trains, survivor recognition, and hands-on student-led care initiatives. Students regularly assemble care packages, create artwork, and record encouraging videos for individuals navigating cancer, serious illness, grief, and recovery. These acts are not symbolic. They are intentional moments of connection that remind survivors they are seen, supported, and not alone.

Throughout this page, you’ll see videos created by CLASSY students over the years offering encouragement to people facing life-threatening illnesses and major health challenges. These messages reflect what CLASSY has always believed: young people have the capacity to lead with empathy, presence, and care when given the opportunity.
